S*Tango Man's Here I Come Best cat in Västerås Cat Club 2002 - 2005
We bought our first Persian cat back in 1987 and started a small breeding program in 1988. We have always allowed our cats to walk around in our house, i.e. we do not use cages. Our cats has always been a member of our family. Besides our cats, our family consists of Carina, Micke and our two kids Sandra and Patrik.
In mid 90 we also started to breed exotic shorthairs. Later on we found out that our exotic female had PKD and she was taken away from our breeding program. In 1995 we went to USA and visited Mette Mjanger, Persian breeder and a FIFe-judge at that time. During our visit we fell in love with a lovely little brown tabby mackerel / white Persian male. After a short consideration it was decided that he, Fagervoll's Diamond In the Ruff TS, was going to move to Sweden. When we got back to Sweden it felt like forever before it was time for him to arrive. A few weeks before "Tommy", as he was called later on, were suppose to arrive, Mette called us and asked if we wanted a second cat. We called the quarantine and asked them if it was possible to get in a second cat. A couple of weeks later, in march 1996, the two cats arrived to Sweden. Fagervoll's Diamond In the Ruff TS was successful as a stud and he got several beautiful kittens. In 1998 he was awarded Sweden's Best Persian Stud. We have showed our brown tabby, EP Tango Man's Here I Come, during 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 with great success. He has been Best In Show 27 times and Best of Opposite Sex 10 times. During 2002 and 2003 he was awarded Sweden's Best Persian Neuter with in SVERAK. In 2004 he became COTY no 3 and 2005 COTY no. 2. In 2003 our females begun to get old so we needed to get some new blood lines in to our breeding program. So we contacted Chatrine Persson, IxiDixi's Cattery, and decided to get a cream tabby exotic female to get back in to the exotic breeding again. We also contacted Åse Söderberg, Barrac Palinkas Cattery. From Åse we first choosed a black-white Persian female, and after a while we decided to get a second cat, a blue tortie female Persian. All three of them had their first litters in the second half of 2004. In the fall of 2006 we met a red exotic male, Charlie 16, from IxiDixi's. Later on, right before christmas, he moved to our house. All of our cats used in our breeding program are PKD tested negative. If you would like to now any thing more about our persian and exotic cats or just have a question about our kittens, do not hesitate to contact us. Carina & Mikael
